What we stand for

Since 1972, the Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine has strived to become a leader in patient care in terms of quality and outcome. As a residency program, we want to train doctors to be an island of hope, a repository of knowledge and a guidepost in the community for all people who seek out treatment and care. Also, through both our fellowship programs we seek to serve the elders of our community through geriatric medicine as well as providing committed physical and mental health support to our student athletes via sports medicine.
