Central High Pre-Med Program
The Central High School Pre-Medical Magnet Program provides West Louisville students with hands-on exposure to medical careers. Through an immersive curriculum, students shadow UofL Health doctors, observe surgeries, assist with procedures and practice essential medical skills.
Future Healers Program
In response to increasing instances of gun violence, this outreach program bridges Louisville's healthcare community and youth impacted by gun violence. Through mentorship, advocacy and compassion, it empowers youth to heal from trauma, explore medicine and aspire to create brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
Rural Health
The University of Louisville partners with the Commonwealth to address statewide needs, creating opportunities for students and patients. Through award-winning Area Health Education Centers and unique medical training sites, UofL fosters education, care and future physicians.
