The residency provides the podiatric medical college graduate with the didactic instruction and clinical experience necessary to achieve competence in the full scope of advanced podiatric foot and ankle surgery and medicine. To this end, our residents participate in a variety of medical and surgical rotations designed to broaden and strengthen their capabilities as health practitioners and to clarify their role in comprehensive health care delivery systems.

Our mission is: “To develop highly qualified, residency trained, Podiatric physicians and surgeons. For residents to achieve proficiency as clinicians, surgeons, researchers, educators, managers, and humanitarians.”
