What We Stand For 

The University of Louisville Department of Neurological Surgery is dedicated to the application of scientific insight and pioneering technology to restore quality of life for patients suffering from neurological disease and injury. Our dedication to patients is integrated with a commitment to advancing the comprehension of human neurological function and the treatment of disease.  

Our surgeons are experts in minimally invasive approaches to brain and spine surgery.  We offer techniques including robotics, endovascular, endoscopic, stereotactic, and image-guided surgeries.
These methods improve safety, reduce postoperative pain, minimize blood loss, and shorten hospital stays—helping patients recover faster and return to their lives with fewer complications.
