Physiology
Exploring the fundamental mechanisms of human physiology to contribute to advances in health, disease and therapeutic development.
We have a fully supported PhD program with a focus in physiology and offers an MS degree (non-thesis). We proudly have 18 full-time faculty members and we host 23 affiliate faculty members. Physiology has received multiple National Research service awards with a focus on PhD-Student training fellowships. Our department is proud to have world-class investigators and award-winning educators. Our physiology department is ranked 64th in NIH funding. We have federally and privately funded research labs.
