Our research efforts focus on mood disorders, which include investigating the biology of bipolar disorder and exploring innovative uses of cognitive-behavioral therapy incorporating new technologies.

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences consists of psychiatrists and psychologists probing psychological, biological and social processes involved in mental health and influencing the cause, diagnosis and treatment of mental illness. Our research faculty are committed to advancing treatments, prevention strategies and cures for neuropsychiatric disorders.
