We are proud to highlight the work of one of our anesthesiology residents, Dr. Andrew Ray, recently featured in Louisville Medicine. This article reflects on Dr. Ray's commitment to academic inquiry, advocacy, and advancing the specialty of anesthesiology through resident-led initiative. He shares his path that led him from intimidated bystander to a national resident leader, elected to the ASA Resident Component Governing Council.
