Incoming Chief Residents come from the University of Louisville Pediatric Residency Program

The University of Louisville (UofL) Department of Pediatrics will be welcoming in three new chief residents for the 2024-25 academic year: Emily Allen, Ally Howard, and Dylan Vish. All three are graduates of the UofL School of Medicine (ULSOM) Department of Pediatrics Residency program.

“We’re excited for Emily, Ally and Dylan to take on their new leadership roles” says Pediatric Residency Program Director Dr. Sara Multerer. “Their dedication to our program will further our mission of inclusive excellence in clinical care, medical education, pediatric research, and community advocacy."

Drs. Allen, Howard and Vish will be replacing UofL Pediatric Chief Residents, Ryan Conard, MD and Lucy Aldridge, DO, who have served in that role since August of 2024.

Dr. Conard will be moving to Denver, where he has matched into the Adult Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Colorado. “I hope to use the pediatric and internal medicine training I received at UofL to transition youth with Type 1 Diabetes and other endocrinopathies into the adult world,” said Dr. Conrad.

Dr. Aldridge will be staying in the Louisville area, transitioning to a role at the Norton Children’s Medical Group – Nulu clinic. Dr. Aldridge is passionate about continuing her work in pediatric healthcare within the local community. She is looking forward to making a meaningful impact on children's health and well-being in her new position, emphasizing her commitment to serving the Louisville area with dedication and care.
