UofL residents post another successful fellowship match

It was yet another successful fellowship match for soon-to-be graduating members of the University of Louisville Internal Medicine Residency and Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Residency programs as their paths were blazed following their graduations in June 2024.

Four of those trainees will continue their careers at UofL.

It is also a class that exhibited great resilience as it was recruited and trained in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are so proud of our residents on their fellowship matches," Jennifer Olges, MD, director of the UofL Internal Medicine Residency Program said. "Their successes speak to their hard work and dedication, as well as the quality of training they have received here at the University of Louisville. I know they will represent us well as they move on to fellowship training and beyond."

Nearly all of the program's internal medicine residents who have applied for subspecialty fellowship have successfully matched over the past several years.
