Kelly McMasters received the Marc Lehmann 2018 Spirit of Service Award

In 2018, the Marc Lehmann Spirit of Service Award honored Kelly McMasters for exemplifying the Foundation’s core purpose, recognizing oncology professionals whose careers are defined by patient‑centered excellence delivered with empathy and unwavering dedication to patients and their families. The award exists to lift up caregivers who model the “golden rule” in practice and to provide the medical community with living examples worthy of emulation, making its recognition both a celebration and a call to continued compassionate service.

About the Award: Since 2013, the foundation has celebrated physicians, nurses and caregivers across Louisville’s oncology community, spotlighting those who combine proficiency with empathy in the most trying moments of care.
