Body Imaging Fellowship Program

Program Overview

The Body Imaging fellowship at the School of Medicine is a one-year non-ACGME accredited program accepting one fellow per year.

Our goal is to comprehensively train outstanding, productive, well-rounded body imagers, with expertise in all aspects of abdominal imaging, who will be well prepared for academic or private practice positions.

The program's three major rotation sites include UofL Health - UofL Hospital, UofL Health - Jewish Hospital and the UofL Healthcare Outpatient Center.

Application & Interview Process

The program follows the guidelines and timeframe established by SCARD and accepts applications starting on the 1st of November. Interviews for 2026-27 position will be held between January-March 2026.

Only candidates with a complete application will be considered for an interview.

The Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE) is also known as the Dean's Letter.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

Please submit three letters of recommendation including one from program director of your Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program (or current program director, if in fellowship training) and at least two additional LORs.

Please note: Must be a certified or official copy that includes all the steps taken, scores, date taken and attempts.

Please provide a recent photograph taken within the last year.

ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)

If a graduate of medical school outside of the United States or Canada, must have a valid ECFMG certificate that is current on the date training begins.
