Research Overview

Our pediatric hematology, oncology and stem cell studies focus on improving treatment outcomes, including genomic testing for cancer, immune system impacts on resistant pediatric cancers, treatments for children with abnormal immune cells, amino acid therapies and adjusting chemotherapy and radiation for sickle cell disease bone marrow transplants.

As part of the University of Louisville School of Medicine Pediatric Research Institute, Norton Children's Research Institute and Children's Oncology Group, our faculty and fellows can access cutting-edge research resources with minimal administrative burdens. With over 200 clinical research professionals and 300+ active studies, including Phase 1-3 clinical trials, we are at the forefront of pediatric research and clinical advancements.
