Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program Rotations
Our Rotations
Our pediatric fellows experience various rotations, gaining expertise in many specialties while developing skills in clinical care, teaching and research.
- Inpatient Psychiatry: 6 months
- Community Mental Health: 6 months
- Consult/Liaison Psychiatry: 6 months
- Community and Integration: 3 months
- Elective: 3 months
Protected time for ½ day/week for didactics and long-term therapy patients.
½ day/week for second-year fellows.
4 weeks per academic year, scheduled during rotations
- Psychiatric Emergency Evaluation: Evaluate youth in the ED during psychiatric emergencies across rotations.
- Community Mental Health Rotation: Includes crisis stabilization unit and psychiatric residential treatment center experience.
- Consult/Liaison Rotation: Includes pediatric neurology exposure for ½ day/week.
- Community and Integration Rotation: Includes experiences in integrated care in pediatric primary care and school-based services.
- Elective Rotation: Opportunities in eating disorders, autism, hematology/oncology, advocacy, policy work, administration and more based on interests.
