About Us

Welcome From Division Chief

The University of Louisville School of Medicine Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children through excellence in clinical care, education, research and innovation. As a nationally recognized leader in pediatric endocrine care, we are committed to advancing the field through groundbreaking scientific discovery, collaborative research and the development of new therapies that improve the lives of children and families affected by endocrine disorders.

Our faculty, trainees and staff share a common mission: to provide exceptional, patient-centered care while expanding knowledge and creating new opportunities for innovation. Through a culture of curiosity, compassion and lifelong learning, we strive to better understand endocrine diseases and translate emerging discoveries into meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.

Education and mentorship are central to our mission. We are proud to train the next generation of pediatric endocrinologists through our ACGME-accredited Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship. The fellowship offers comprehensive clinical and research training designed to prepare physicians for successful careers in academic medicine, clinical practice and investigative research. Fellows gain extensive clinical experience through training at Norton Children's Hospital, the UofL Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic and the Wendy Novak Diabetes Center.

Research and discovery remain a cornerstone of our division. Through strong interdisciplinary collaborations and access to exceptional institutional resources, our faculty and trainees contribute to clinical and translational research that advances the understanding and treatment of endocrine disorders. We are committed to fostering an environment where innovation thrives and where scientific inquiry leads directly to improvements in patient care.

We invite you to explore our programs, connect with our faculty and fellows, and join us in our shared commitment to advancing endocrine health through clinical excellence, education, research and innovation.
