We are a vibrant academic community advancing youth mental health through innovative research, interdisciplinary training and clinical excellence. Faculty-led research addresses pressing clinical and systemic challenges and investigates neurodevelopmental and social determinants of mental health outcomes. Integrated training programs, including the child clinical and pediatric psychology doctoral internship, the ACGME-accredited child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and the Lovick C. Miller Post-Doctoral Fellowship, provide comprehensive preparation in evidence-based care, developmental psychopathology and interdisciplinary collaboration.

We are committed to advancing the field of youth mental health through a combination of clinical research, interdisciplinary training and collaborative care. Faculty research addresses a wide range of topics, including behavioral interventions for young children, novel approaches to treating depression and chronic illness and systemic issues such as equity in mental health care, training gaps and the impact of social determinants. We support comprehensive training programs for psychology interns, psychiatry fellows and postdoctoral trainees, preparing them to deliver evidence-based, developmentally informed care. Trainees gain experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, working within multidisciplinary teams and participating in both clinical services and applied research that bridges science and practice.
