Welcome From Division Chief
The University of Louisville School of Medicine Division of Pediatric Nephrology faculty, trainees and staff share a commitment to improving the lives of children with kidney disease and related conditions through compassionate, evidence-based care, innovative research and outstanding educational opportunities.
Our division brings together nationally recognized experts who are passionate about advancing the field of pediatric nephrology and improving outcomes for children and families. We provide comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of kidney disorders while fostering an environment that values collaboration, innovation and lifelong learning.
Within the Department of Pediatrics, we play a key role in learner development through a dedicated nephrology elective for pediatric residents and through collaboration on the pediatric nephrology rotation for the University of Louisville's Adult Nephrology Fellowship Program. These educational experiences provide learners with valuable exposure to kidney disease management, interdisciplinary care and the evolving science of nephrology while fostering intellectual curiosity and clinical excellence.
Beyond our clinical, research and educational missions, we are committed to building partnerships that strengthen pediatric kidney care throughout our region and beyond. By collaborating with healthcare providers, researchers and professional organizations, we seek to improve access to care, advance best practices and create opportunities for innovation that benefit children and families.
