Our pediatric fellows experience various rotations, gaining expertise in many specialties while developing skills in clinical care, teaching and research.
- Orientation/Bootcamp: 4 weeks
- Echocardiography: 12 weeks
- Cardiac ICU: 4 weeks
- Progressive Care Unit: 4 weeks
- Inpatient Consults: 8 weeks
- Cardiac Catheterization: 8 weeks
- Electrophysiology: 4 weeks
- Elective: 4 weeks
- Research: 4 weeks

- Progressive Care Unit: 2 weeks
- Inpatient Consults: 4 weeks
- Cardiac Catheterization: 4 weeks
- Adult Congenital Heart Disease: 4 weeks
- Elective: 8 weeks
- Research: 24 weeks
Phone call when not in ICU; decreases from Year 1 to Year 3.
4 weeks/year, during non-inpatient blocks.
1 day/week during non-inpatient blocks.
- Fetal Echocardiography
- Advanced Imaging (MRI/CT)
- Non-invasive Electrophysiology
- Outreach (rotates through Norton Children's Medical Group sites)
