Overview

The Division of General Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is committed to excellence in surgical education, clinical care and research. Our robust training programs prepare residents and fellows with a comprehensive foundation in surgical techniques, decision-making and patient-centered care. With access to a wide variety of clinical settings through our consortium model, trainees gain valuable experience across multiple subspecialties, including minimally invasive surgery, trauma and surgical oncology.
