The Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapeutics is a thriving and expanding academic unit within the Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville. Committed to a three-part mission—delivering outstanding clinical care, advancing clinical and translational research and fostering medical education—the division plays a vital role in shaping the future of vascular surgery.

Launched in 2020, the vascular surgery fellowship program is a testament to the dedication and expertise of the faculty. The division offers a comprehensive open and endovascular surgical program, addressing complex conditions involving the aorta, carotid arteries, peripheral and visceral vasculature and dialysis access.

Educational excellence is central to the division’s mission. Medical students, residents and fellows benefit from a rich learning environment supported by regular lectures, conferences, Grand Rounds and visiting professor series.
