Welcome
We are proud to be a high-volume, clinically active team performing an average of 4,500 surgeries each year. Our skilled physicians care for the full spectrum of pediatric surgical needs—from neonatal conditions and childhood tumors to trauma and burn care. As leaders in the field, our faculty are engaged at every level—locally, nationally and internationally—and are dedicated to advancing pediatric surgery through education and research.
Our division is based at Norton Children’s Hospital, a premier institution recognized for delivering comprehensive pediatric care. The hospital holds a Level One Pediatric Trauma designation from the American College of Surgeons and serves as a regional Cancer Center for Children. Through its affiliation with the Children’s Oncology Group, Norton Children’s also ensures access to cutting-edge cancer treatments and clinical trials for our young patients.
Our team includes seven full-time Pediatric Surgery faculty members and supports an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Surgery Fellowship, training one fellow every two years. In addition to fellow education, we are deeply committed to training medical students and surgical residents, helping shape the future of pediatric surgery.
