Overview
The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is committed to excellence in patient care, education and research. Our division offers a comprehensive training program that prepares residents and fellows with the technical skills, clinical experience and academic foundation needed to become leaders in plastic surgery. With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and multidisciplinary collaboration, trainees are exposed to a full spectrum of procedures—from reconstructive microsurgery and craniofacial surgery to aesthetic and hand surgery.
Our faculty are engaged in pioneering research that drives innovation in wound healing, tissue engineering, nerve regeneration and surgical outcomes. These efforts are supported by robust clinical programs and partnerships across specialties, providing a dynamic and enriching environment for both trainees and investigators.
