Training the Next Generation of Cardiovascular Leaders

As part of our academic mission, the UofL Cardiovascular Division offers a robust, clinically oriented Cardiovascular Fellowship Program, with six fellowship positions available each year. Fellows train across three core teaching hospitals:

• UofL Health – UofL Hospital
• Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center
• UofL Health – Jewish Hospital

Each facility provides extensive exposure to diverse cardiac conditions and is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs and advanced non-invasive imaging technology.

Fellows receive comprehensive training in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology, supported by faculty who are leaders in their fields. Research opportunities span clinical studies, cardiac physiology, and cellular/molecular biology—reinforced by modern laboratories and a strong conference curriculum.
