The University of Louisville Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes is dedicated to advancing patient care, research, and medical education across the greater Louisville region. Our faculty provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for the full spectrum of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, lipid disorders, and other complex hormonal conditions.
Through a patient-centered approach, we combine advanced diagnostic expertise with the latest treatment strategies to improve health outcomes and quality of life.
As a regional leader in endocrine care, our specialists serve patients throughout UofL Health, the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Norton Hospital, and affiliated outpatient clinics. In addition to delivering exceptional clinical care, the division is committed to advancing the field through innovative basic, translational, and clinical research that drives new discoveries and therapeutic approaches for endocrine and metabolic diseases.
The division also serves as a premier center for medical education and physician training. Under the leadership of Dr. Sri Prakash Mokshagundam, medical students, residents, and fellows gain hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, and research opportunities that prepare them to become the next generation of leaders in endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes care.
