The UofL Division of General Internal Medicine works to provide comprehensive, person-centered care for adults through excellent inpatient and outpatient care, including palliative care. Our division leads nationally in general internal medicine and medical education, driving high-value health care, education and research for the future.

Additionally, we strive to deliver excellent education to fellows, residents and students in general internal medicine and palliative medicine using evidence-based medicine and an interprofessional approach, while working to advance the fields of general internal medicine and medical education through scholarly activity.
