The University of Louisville Division of General Internal Medicine provides comprehensive, person-centered care while supporting education, research and innovation in adult health. As part of the Department of Medicine, our faculty provide primary and specialty care, educate future healthcare professionals and work to improve the health of the communities we serve through evidence-based medicine.

Clinical Care
Our internists specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and management of adult health conditions. They provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Our approach emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care that supports each patient’s health and well-being. Faculty work with patients and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans based on individual needs.
