Training the Next Generation of Cardiovascular Leaders
As part of our academic mission, the UofL Cardiovascular Division offers a robust, clinically oriented Cardiovascular Fellowship Program, with six fellowship positions available each year. Fellows train across three core teaching hospitals:
Each facility provides extensive exposure to diverse cardiac conditions and is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratories and advanced noninvasive imaging technology.
Fellows receive comprehensive training in both invasive and noninvasive cardiology, supported by faculty who are leaders in their fields. Research opportunities include clinical studies, cardiac physiology, and cellular and molecular biology. Training is reinforced by modern laboratories and a strong conference curriculum.
With a strong emphasis on research and academic development, the program prepares graduates for successful clinical and academic careers.
