Training the next generation of cardiovascular leaders
As part of our academic mission, the UofL Cardiovascular Division offers a robust, clinically oriented Cardiovascular Fellowship Program, with six fellowship positions available each year. Fellows train across three core teaching hospitals:
- UofL Health – UofL Hospital
- Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center
- UofL Health – Jewish Hospital
Each facility provides extensive exposure to diverse cardiac conditions and is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs and advanced non-invasive imaging technology.
Fellows receive comprehensive training in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology, supported by faculty who are leaders in their fields. Research opportunities span clinical studies, cardiac physiology and cellular/molecular biology — reinforced by modern laboratories and a strong conference curriculum.
